1. What makes the Restore Bar different?

Restore is made with only four core ingredients,  grass-fed tallow, coconut oil, French green clay, and aloe vera. No fragrance, no chemicals, no fillers. A bar created to cleanse, nourish, and support real skin health.

2. Does this soap contain lye?

Yes, all true soap does.

During saponification, lye and oils fully convert into soap and glycerin. Once cured, no lye remains in the final product. Restore is pure, gentle, skin-safe.

3. What skin type is Restore best for?

All skin types , especially sensitive, dry, or easily irritated skin.

Tallow replenishes, coconut nourishes,  clay detoxifies, aloe soothes. Balanced, never harsh.

4. Will this bar dry out my skin?

No. Tallow is rich in fatty acids that closely mirror skin’s natural oils. Restore cleans deeply while leaving skin soft, nourished, and calm.

5. Can I use it on my face?

We do recommend using an oil based cleanser, however you prefer a soap cleanser, yes.

6. Does it lather well?

Yes,  the coconut oil gives the bar a dense, creamy lather that rinses clean without tightness.

7. How long does one bar last?

With consistent daily use, around 3–4 weeks.

Hot process is a traditional way of making soap where the ingredients are gently heated during the saponification stage. This speeds up the reaction and creates a fully “cooked” bar that’s ready to use sooner.

11. Does Hot Process affect the quality of the bar?

Not at all. Hot process creates a bar that’s dense, rustic, long-lasting, and gentle, with the same cleansing and moisturizing benefits as cold process.

12. Why does Hot Process soap look more “textured” or rustic?

The texture comes from the way the batter cooks and thickens. Each bar turns out slightly unique, a sign that it’s handmade, small-batch, and not mass produced.
